The Safe Space Training Program was created through the Division of Student Affairs to reduce homophobia/transphobia and heterosexism on the Old Dominion University campus. The hope is that through education, advocacy, and awareness, the Safe Space Training Program will provide a campus climate that is open, safe, and accepting to all GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning) people and allies.
