Mission Statement

The mission of the Old Dominion University Department of Recreational Sports is to provide opportunities that contribute to the education and development of the students, faculty and staff members of the Old Dominion Univiersity community and foster quality recreational programs, facilities and services for its diverse populations.

The Department of Recreational Sports demonstrates its commitment to excellence by effectively and efficiently utilizing resources which promote healthy and ethical lifestyle choices.
