Race Registration:
All participants for both the Monarch 5k and Adventure Race can register at ACTIVE.COM. Click Here to register for the Monarch 5K and Click Here to register for the Adventure Race. Participants may also register race day but will not be guaranteed a race shirt or bag.

Race Packet Pick-Up;
Participants may pick-up their packets from 3 to 7pm on Friday, April 6th or beginning at 7am on race day at the Student Recreation Center on the corner of Powhatan Avenue and 48th Street on the Campus of Old Dominion University. Pre-registered racers will receive a race shirt and bag. On-site registrants are not guaranteed a shirt and/or bag.
5K Race Route:
The Monarch 5k begins at 48th and Powhatan Ave. Travel north on Powhatan Ave., turn east onto 49th Street and run to Hampton Blvd., turn south onto Hampton Blvd. and run to 43rd Street, turn west onto 43rd Street and run to Powhatan Ave., turn north onto Powhatan Ave. and run to 49th Street. Do the loop twice and end at the Rosann Runte Quad. Click here for course map.
Adventure Race Route:
The Adventure Race Route will be revealed at the race start time. The route is 3 miles or less. Participants must be able to complete the race course in 2 hours.
Parking:
All participants can park in LOT 43 on the corner of Powhatan Avenue and 43rd Street.
5K Awards:
Awards will be given to the fastest Male & Females Race Walkers and to the fasted 3 in ach age category for ODU Male & Female Students and Open Males and Females.
Adventure Race Awards:
Awards will be given to the fastest 3 teams in each category: ODU Student Teams and Open Teams.
