Rights of Accused Students
The following rights are granted to accused students, as noted in the Student Disciplinary Policies & Procedures on the following pages:
ACCUSED STUDENT RIGHTS: FORMAL HEARING (P. 12)

To be present at the hearing and hear all testimony presented. If a student, who has been properly notified, fails to appear at the scheduled date, time and place for the hearing, the panel may hear the case and make its findings in the student's absence;

To examine, prior to the hearing, evidence to be presented at the hearing, to the extent that it is available;

To be provided, prior to the hearing, evidence to be presented at the hearing, to the extent that it is available;

To question witnesses in accordance with the rules;

To present evidence in accordance with the rules;
-
To remain silent at the hearing.
RIGHT TO APPEAL THE DECISION OF THE HEARING OFFICER (P.15)
