The Office of Student Judicial Affairs is responsible for the administration of the student conduct system as outlined in the Student Disciplinary Policies and Procedures.
Our community standards are based upon the ideals of the Monarch Creed. The Code of Student Conduct further establishes specific standards for student behavior. In addition, the Honor Code embodies Old Dominion University's standards to guide students as scholars in their academic endeavors.
As such the staff in the office respond to any alleged disciplinary violation to determine if community standards have been violated. Our disciplinary process is rooted in developmental theory and our goal is to educate the student regarding community standards. The office serves as a resource for students concerning their rights and responsibilities and provides assistance to faculty, students and staff regarding student conduct issues.
