Monarch Maniacs

A Monarch Maniac is a student (undergraduate or graduate) who is proud to be a part of Old Dominion University and wants to show that pride by supporting all University athletics. Maniacs are students who want to see Old Dominion excel in every activity it takes part and help the University maintain the national recognition it already possesses.

There is NO exact definition of who is or is not a Monarch Maniac. Anyone who wants to be a Maniac can join as long as he/she is a currently enrolled student at Old Dominion University.

Why Become a Maniac?

• You get to show your Monarch Pride by receiving an ODU T-shirt exclusively designed for the Maniacs!
• You get to go on road trips and cheer on your fellow Monarchs!
• Your e-mail address is placed on our Monarch Maniac list serve to keep you informed of upcoming athletic events and other important information on campus!
• You get discounts at area businesses with your Monarch Maniac Membership Card!
• You receive invitations to pre and post-game parties!
• You get the opportunity to interact with coaches and players on our athletics teams!

How Do I Become a Maniac?

Simply download an application (PDF) or pick one up at the Office of Student Activities and Leadership (Webb Center, room 2122).  Your $10 payment must be submitted with the application  -- cash or check only.  To renew a Monarch Maniacs membership for the upcoming 2007-2008 season, please submit an application with your payment.
