Family Weekend

Save the date!
Family Weekend 2011 will be held September 30 - October 2.

Family Weekend is a special opportunity for you and your family to become better acquainted with the Old Dominion University campus and all it has to offer.

To keep you informed about all of the exciting events, we will be updating this page throughout the upcoming weeks. Here you can find a detailed schedule of events, so you can plan your weekend according to your interests.

The Monarch Family Weekend schedule includes a football game (at an additional cost - children four years of age and under are free on a lap; ODU students are also free), a pre-game party and football game, a President's brunch, and more. To see other campus events that are taking place on campus during Family Weekend, check out the University Calendar

The fee to register for Family Weekend is $30 per person/guest.
ODU STUDENTS ARE FREE.
Football tickets will be an additional $15 per person/guest, limit 4, and are only available for puchase through the Family Weekend registration process through Monday, September 12th - please review the Athletic Ticketing Policies for more information.  (Football tickets for ODU students participating in Family Weekend will be free, but must be reserved through the Family Weekend registration process as well.)

Online registration is now closed.

*We will accept on-site registrations during any of the check-in times listed below.  Payment may be made in cash or check.  (Football tickets are no longer available with new Family Weekend registrations.)

(If there is more than one ODU student in your family, please call 757-683-3446 for instructions prior to registering.)

*If you are interested in purchasing football tickets without registering for Family Weekend, please note:  The availability of single-game general public tickets for football games is not guaranteed and is dependent on the outcome of each game's student ticket distribution.  Each game has a student ticket distribution period that begins 12 days before the game and lasts until 6pm on the Friday before the game week (8 days prior to the game).  If there are remaining tickets after this distribution period, those tickets will be made available to the general public on Monday morning (5 days prior to gameday) at 10am.  Single-game tickets (unrelated to Family Weekend) cost $25 and can be purchased online at www.odusports.com or by calling 1-888-3COX-TIX on the Monday before gameday (September 26th for the game that occurs during Family Weekend).
