Greek Awards

Each Spring the chapters and members of the Fraternity and Sorority community have an opportunity to apply for awards based on the events and programs from the previous calendar year.  The awards offered include both individual awards, as well as chapter awards.

To apply for an award for the 2008 award year, please click on the award below.  All submissions are due electronically by 5pm, Friday, March 20, 2009.  Late applications or applications not submitted electronically will not be accepted.  Any letters of recommendation can be turned in to the Office of Student Activities & Leadership, 2122 Webb Center.

Dr. Dana Burnett, Outstanding Greek Man/Woman of the Year Award
New Member of the Year
Monarch Greek Honor Award
Outstanding Senior
Community Service Award

Greek Chapter of the Year will be selected from the winners of the Outstanding IFC, NPHC and PHC Chapters of the Year.  Awards that will be distributed, but which chapters do not have to complete a nomination for for will include:

• Most Philanthropy Dollars Donated (per chapter and per member)
• Most Service Hours Completed (per chapter and per member)
• Academic Achievement Awards (both chapter and individual)

The Greek Awards ceremony will take place on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at 6:30pm the North Cafeteria, Webb University Center.  There will be a dessert reception and the event is open to all Greek students.  Dress is formal.  Pin attire or Sunday best.
