Event Management and Scheduling

Space Reservations

How to Request Space

  • Submit a space request form to Event Management.  Forms are available below (or at the Office of Student Activities and Leadership) for each area of campus.
  • Submit requests at least 10 days prior to the event.  (Academic Space Reservation Forms should be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event.) 
  • Requests take a minimum of 5 days to process.

General Guidelines

  • Must be a recognized student organization or department to reserve space.
  • Space is not reserved until you receive an e-mail confirmation.
  • All media (data projectors, special lighting equipment, etc.) must be reserved one week (for general events) or two weeks (for large, extensive media events) prior to the event through Media Services using the Webb Media Equipment Request Form - You may contact Media Services at webbmedia@odu.edu or (757) 683-6228.
  • All food and beverages must be provided by Aramark Catering.  Please call (757) 683-4691 or e-mail catering@odu.edu for more information.
