Socialize with others interested in local, seasonal, and sustainable food!

The Center for Service & Civic Engagement is proud to announce their partnership with the 5pts Farm Market in Norfolk and Aramark's Monarch Dining to bring a CSA program to ODU and its surrounding communities.

What is a CSA?  CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture.  It is a program that is designed to support small farmers and bring seasonal fresh produce to the community's table.  A group of individuals pledge their support by purchasing a CSA subscription that provides them with seasonal local produce.

How does CSA @ ODU Work?  CSA @ ODU allows ODU and its local community to connect with the CSA program at 5pts Farm Market ON CAMPUS.  Every Friday, 5Pts will deliver  ODU subscriptions to the Webb Center and from 4pm to 6pm, Aramark will host a social in the Norfolk room where subscribers can pick up their produce, enjoy appetizers and beverages, get recipe suggestions, and mingle with Aramark and local chefs, as well as others who are interested in sustainable food.
