Student Ticket Policies for Athletic Events

Old Dominion University students, who have paid the student activity fee, are admitted free to all Old Dominion University athletic events.

The following policies are in place per each sport for 2009/10:

  • Football - Students tickets are available beginning 12 days (the Monday two weeks prior to the home game) prior to each home game through 6 p.m. on Wednesday of the game week. Tickets may be picked up at the Ted Constant Convocation Center box office (M-F 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sat 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) and the Campus Information Center, located in Webb Center. A current ODU student ID must be validated for ticket pick up and for admission into Foreman Field student entrance, off Bluestone Avenue. One ticket per student ID. Student seating is limited and students are encouraged to pick up their ticket by the deadline, as any remaining student tickets will be available for sale to the general public, beginning Thursday of game week at 10 a.m.  (For the first game, tickets will be available at the Ted box office ONLY on the first day of ticket distribution, Monday, August 24th.)
  • Family Weekend - The football game against Monmouth on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 6 p.m. has been designated as Family Day. Discounted tickets for this contest will be available to families participating in Family Weekend.  Tickets may be purchased through the Family Weekend registration process at $12 each, beginning Aug. 1, through Sept. 7.  Tickets are limited to four per each student I.D. Families will be seated in the student sections at Foreman Field, and parents can reserve their ODU student's ticket on the same order form, by including their University Identification Number (UIN). Tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis - families are encouraged to place their order early.
  • Men's and Women's Basketball - Student tickets are available beginning one week prior to each home game, with the exception of games over the holidays, which may be picked up prior to the conclusion of the fall semester. Tickets may be picked up in person at the Constant Center box office, the Campus Information Center , or at the student entrance at the Constant Center the night of the game (if available). A current ODU student ID must be validated for ticket pick up and for entrance to the Constant Center. Any remaining student tickets will be available for sale on game day to the general public.
  • Men's and Women's soccer, baseball, wrestling - Student admission to these sports is by presentation of a valid ODU student ID at the student marked ticket entrances.
  • Scholarship games (field hockey, lacrosse, swimming) - Admission to all other ODU athletic events is free, with the exception of selected scholarship games, where students must present a valid ID for admission.
  • Student Guest Tickets - Available on a limited basis for football and basketball games for $10 for football and $5 for basketball. Guest tickets can only be purchased at the Ted Constant Convocation Center box office ,  and are limited to one guest ticket per ID.

Student Tickets are non transferable. The resale or attempted resale of the ticket at a higher price than appearing on the ticket is grounds for seizure and voided without compensation. Tickets which are lost, stolen, and counterfeit or obtained from an unauthorized source will be voided.
