Capture each moment so that it becomes a new part of what you are and of what you are in the process of becoming. Life is not something we do; it is something we experience. Take advantage of whatever you can.  If you are one of the many students who hasn't decided on a path or passion, use the opportunities provided to you to explore your interests.  If you have a passion, make it real, and share it with others by volunteering and being involved.  College is your time to explore, use it wisely by engaging in the community around you.

I graduated in 2007 from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ with a Bachelor's of Science degree in International Relations and Diplomacy.  I have spent the past two years traveling the country as an educational consultant for my sorority, Alpha Sigma Tau. I am a first-year graduate student in the Higher Education program, and a 2008 graduate of Christopher Newport University.  While at CNU, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, and was active in both the Student Government Association and the President's Leadership Program. After my undergrad, I took a year off from school and joined the AmeriCorps VISTA program, working as the Volunteer and Resource Coordinator for Refugee & Immigration Services in Hampton, VA. Community Service is my passion, but when I'm not hard at work I enjoy playing with my kickball team or spending time with my pet chinchilla, Rocko.
