Panhellenic Council

The Old Dominion University Panhellenic Council (PHC) serves as the governing body for the five national sororities on campus.  The Panhellenic women work together to unite sororities, to focus on common goals, and to create a network of support for chapters and members.  We provide many interactive programs for sorority women as well as for all ODU students.

The PHC annually works with the Interfraternity Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council to sponsor many educational and fun events, including variety of speakers, conferences, and many diverse leadership programs.

What is Fall Formal Recruitment?
Fall Formal Recruitment (FFR) is the process by which a woman, who is attending ODU as an undergraduate student, can become a member of one of the five (5) Panhellenic sororities. FFR is a mutual selection process where the prospective members and the chapters get to know each other and make membership selections. Each day, the chapters will make invitation lists and prospective members will narrow down their selections for the following rounds.
*FFR starts the evening of Thursday, September 26, 2013 and concludes on Sunday, September 29.
