The deadline for submitting 2005 tax return paperwork to the government is midnight on Monday, 17 April. If you still have not requested a password for CINTAX (tax preparation software for international students), . You will need to send an e-mail with the following information:

Should you not be able to make that deadline, you will need to fill out tax forms on your own or seek assistance from a professional tax preparer. ISSS staff members are not trained on tax return forms, so our staff unfortunately cannot guide you with regard to what you might need to submit and where.
CPT Over the Summer?: Will you be participating in an internship over the summer? If so, have you attended the required Curricular Practical Training (CPT) workshop? The last one for the semester will be on 25 April and registration should be done at least 24 hours in advance. To find out more about CPT and whether or not you are eligible, visit our site.
Find Some Great Deals: The ODU Police Department Auction Extravaganza 2006 will be held on April 17, 2006 in the Webb Center Lobby at 11:00 am. Items usually up for sale: books, bicycles, cell phones, jewelry, watches, electronic items, book bags, calculators and more! These are items turned in to Lost and Found but were never claimed by their owners. You can get some great deals! FMI: 683-4979
ISSS Advising in Webb: Webb Advising on Tuesday, 18 April will be in the front lobby near the Campus Information Center and, on Thursday, 20 April, will take place in the South Mall of Webb near the book store. An advisor from ISSS will be there from 12:30 until 1:30 to answer questions about anything non-academic (e.g. questions about Immigration, travel, practical training, insurance, etc.).
Health Insurance & Summer/Fall Registration for F-1 & J Visa Holders: Most of you have an insurance hold that goes into effect on 1 April. Please refer to the ISSS Health Insurance page for information on coverage requirements. If you will be visiting your home country over the summer and wish to request an insurance exemption, the Request for Insurance Exemption form must be submitted in accordance with the instructions on the form. REMINDER: It takes two business days to remove holds; if two complete days have passed and your hold is still not gone from LeoOnline, you should e-mail us to inquire as to the status of your paperwork.
Dragas Closing Reminder: Don't forget that Dragas International Center will close at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, 19 April.
Travel Signatures for F & J Visa Holders: If you will be leaving the U.S. this summer and are planning to return, you will need a signature from ISSS on your I-20 or DS-2019. Documents can be dropped off in the ISSS Inbox; they can be picked up from the front desk of Dragas after three business days. Please be sure you have no registration holds as forms cannot be signed if that is the case.
