Documentation of Serious Illness

If a student misses more than one week of classes due to an illness and is being monitored by Student Health Services, we will provide the student with written documentation of the time frame of the illness.

Students followed by medical or mental health care providers (off campus) must contact their provider for appropriate medical documentation.

To request make-up time from instructors for missed assignments, students should contact the Student Advocate, Room 1101, Webb Center at 757-683-5869, with appropriate medical documentation.
