Be proactive in protecting yourself in every sexual relationship. Remember that abstinence is the only 100% way to protect yourself from a sexually transmitted infection or unplanned pregnancy. If you choose to be sexually active, use a condom everytime. Be aware that two sexually transmitted infections (genital warts/HPV and herpes) can still be spread via skin to skin contact even with a condom. o       World AIDS Day is celebrated on December 1 of every year. This year marks the 20 year anniversary for the HIV virus.
