REGISTRATION
Please contact Disability Services located at 1525 Webb Center, 683-4655. You may qualify for academic accommodations and other services if you have a documented disability. Your information will be kept confidential.
If you have a disability and plan to take classes at Old Dominion University, you should take the following steps:
- Complete an application for admission to the University and submit it to the Admissions office. Disclosure of a disability during the admissions process is not required or requested.
- After you have been accepted to the University, make an appointment with Sheryn Milton, Director, or Kate Broderick, Learning Coordinator, to discuss your needs.
- Documentation which meets our guidelines* is required for registration with Disability Services. Please submit your documentation prior to your appointment.
- Meet with your academic advisor to plan your academic program and prepare for class registration.
- Register for classes.
- Complete the Request for Faculty Accommodation Letters form (available online and in the office) and submit to Disability Services.
- Pick up FACULTY ACCOMMODATION LETTERS from Disability Services, sign and distribute to your intructors.
- Return the signed Accommodation Agreement Form to Disability Services.
Professors do not have to provide accommodations until they have received your accommodation letter.
